Our Key Commercial Renovation Services

Featured Renovation Service

Swimming Pool Audit: An Important First Step

Our first step will be to determine if an audit of the existing swimming pool is necessary. If an audit is needed, then Landmark Aquatic will customize a standard audit process to fit your pool. The following issues are addressed and cost implications are provided:

  • Assessment of the existing conditions related to compliance with current health code requirements and standards of care.
  • Examination of the structural components of swimming pool shell
  • Identify any negative conditions regarding the pool deck and make recommendations for repair.
  • Assessment of all chemical control, storage and delivery systems for effectiveness and compliance with health and safety requirements.

Landmark Aquatic will provide recommendations for the existing facility in the following categories:

  • Urgent – The philosophy behind these ‘Urgent’ recommendations relates to immediate public safety concerns.
  • Major Repairs for Existing Facility – These tasks are designed to correct existing deficiencies due to the age of the facility. Completion of these tasks will also bring the facility into compliance with existing national standards.
  • Maintenance, Operational, and Enhancement Recommendations – Where appropriate, Westport Pools will provide client with specific maintenance procedures to extend the life cycle of physical assets deemed to be in serviceable condition. We will also make recommendations on new features that can be added to increase attendance and excitement

Commercial Renovations and Rehabilitation Projects

Before beginning any renovation project, we conduct a thorough assessment to define objectives and address crucial issues. Whether it’s compliance with health code requirements or structural repairs, we provide customized solutions tailored to your facility’s needs.

Major Renovation Considerations

We consider various factors including spatial relationships, user groups, financial goals, programming needs, and equipment replacement. By evaluating these aspects, we ensure that renovations align with organizational objectives and meet user needs effectively.

Equipment Replacement and Plumbing Upgrades

Upgrade your pool system to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Our team installs energy-efficient equipment and addresses plumbing issues to ensure optimal water quality and system performance.

Re-surfacing and Tile/Coping

Choose from a variety of surfaces such as paint, PVC membranes, plaster, or pebble finishes to rejuvenate your pool. We also offer tile and coping repairs or replacements, providing options to enhance the aesthetics and durability of your pool.

Spray Grounds

Transform your pool area with the addition of a fun and interactive spray ground feature. Our team can design and install spray grounds of any size or complexity, adding excitement to your facility.

Filter Room Renovation

Renovating your filter room isn’t just for pleasing the eye. Whether you just want to upgrade equipment or re-do the whole thing, Landmark Aquatic will customize a filter room that meets all your needs. Old equipment can be dangerous if overworked. Outdated filters and pumps create more work for you as the operator, and it’s more expensive to keep our pool clear and blue. Even a “simple” upgrade of motors or new filters can drastically change the look and feel of your pool.

FILTER ROOM RENOVATION PROJECT PROFILES

2

Fleet Swimming

The renovation for Fleet Swimming’s pump room included digging out and concreting a new pump pit. There was also an addition of variable frequency drives, flow meters, and two flooded suction pumps, which makes priming much easier for operator. In addition, repetitive TR-140 filters were removed and replaced with two high-rate sand filters, current water heaters were relocated, and the system was re-attached to chillers. This project increased safety, eliminated the need to step over piping, and made all equipment more serviceable.

1

Alligator’s Creek, City of O’Fallon

Alligator’s Creek had a major renovation. They re- configured their leisure pool, added a lazy river, and completely renovated the existing pump room. The pump room renovation cost was part of the multi-million dollar project and was funded through a passed tax increase proposition for the people of O’Fallon, MO.

3

Great Wolf Lodge

The old sand filters reached the end of their life. After continuous leaks, rust, and corrosion, Great Wolf Lodge needed to replace their sand filters, but upgraded to the Neptune Benson. Funding was used as a Capital Expenditure.

4

UMSL University

The National Line filter was not working for the UMSL University pool. Instead of working harder and not smarter, they upgraded to the latest and greatest filter. The filter room renovation (which includes 2 Defenders and strainer baskets) was funded through the university.
