Leadership Team Poised for Impact

Marie Ramos joins as Vice President of Sales, bringing over 26 years of executive sales experience in service growth, contract management, and revenue expansion. She will play a crucial role in driving new business development, strengthening client partnerships, and launching innovative aquatic care programs to elevate Landmark Aquatic’s service offerings.

Jessica Mahoney has been appointed Vice President of Marketing, leveraging her extensive background in brand strategy, market expansion, and industry leadership. She will oversee strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and position Landmark Aquatic as the premier provider of commercial aquatic solutions.

Karen Swindells steps in as Manager of Training and Development, bringing expertise in employee education, learning systems, and talent development. Karen will lead training initiatives that ensure Landmark Aquatic’s teams continue to provide best-in-class service, while also supporting new program rollouts to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Positioning Landmark for Continued Growth

The addition of Marie, Jessica, and Karen to the Landmark Aquatic team comes at a time of significant expansion. Over the past year, Landmark has strengthened its national presence through strategic acquisitions, including Arizona-based Commercial Pool Repair and Indiana-based Spear Corporation, broadening its service capabilities and geographic reach.

Marie Ramos, Vice President of Service Sales

We’re excited to introduce Marie Ramos as our new Vice President of Service Sales. With 26 years of executive sales experience in service growth, contract management, and strategic revenue expansion, Marie brings a wealth of expertise to our organization.

At Johnson Controls, Marie served as Regional Service Sales Manager, managing nearly $200 million in service contracts while achieving consistent double-digit year-over-year growth and strengthening customer retention. Prior to that, she led $612 million in fire service sales, driving a 15% increase in new service contracts and expanding service offerings.

Throughout her career, Marie has consistently exceeded revenue targets, securing $454 million in new business through strategic sales programs and contract optimization. Her passion for continuous improvement, process management, and mentoring sales leaders has helped build high-performing teams, earning her multiple accolades—including a global Manager of Distinction Award for sustained double-digit growth in secured commercial sales.

Beyond her impressive track record, Marie is a people-first leader who understands the power of driving value through strategic partnerships. She has a proven ability to inspire and empower teams, creating an environment where individuals can perform at their highest level. Jessica Mahoney, Vice President of Marketing

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jessica Mahoney as our new Vice President of Marketing. With over two decades of marketing and brand strategy expertise, Jessica is a dynamic leader whose career spans industries including aquatics, recreation, real estate, consumer goods, and technology.

Jessica’s career is marked by her leadership in developing innovative campaigns that build brand equity and drive measurable results. She has successfully managed high-profile accounts for Fortune 500 clients such as Kleenex, Huggies, Honda, and Taco Bell. Beyond her work with global brands, she has collaborated with over 50 startups and small to mid-sized businesses, helping them establish competitive footholds and drive market expansion.

In the aquatic industry, Jessica has emerged as a recognized leader over the past decade. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Surf Park Central, where she led global efforts to accelerate the development and growth of man-made surf destinations. Prior to that, she headed marketing at Aquatic Development Group, overseeing the expansion of the company’s brands into international markets and launching innovative product lines that solidified its position as a leader in aquatic, surf, and mountain recreation. A sought-after industry voice, Jessica has authored numerous articles and spoken extensively on the development, operation, and marketing of aquatic destinations.

Jessica’s vision and expertise align perfectly with Landmark Aquatic’s mission to lead innovation in aquatic solutions. In her role as Vice President of Marketing, she will oversee the company’s brand strategy, digital marketing initiatives, and integrated campaigns, driving market awareness and engagement across all facets of the business. Karen Swindells, Manager of Training and Development

We are thrilled to announce that Karen Swindells will be joining the Landmark Aquatic team as our new Manager of Training and Development. Karen comes to us with a wealth of experience in adult education, employee development, and customer education, making her a valuable addition to our team.

With a strong background in higher education, customer education, and talent development, Karen has successfully designed and implemented scalable employee training programs at several organizations. She has a proven track record of driving employee engagement, reducing turnover, and aligning training initiatives with organizational goals. Most recently, Karen worked with the Pool and Hot Tub Association, where she honed her expertise in creating high-impact training programs that support both employee development and organizational success.

Karen’s previous experience includes serving as Senior Director of Customer Engagement & Strategy at Thought Industries, where she led initiatives to improve client engagement and retention through enhanced training content. She also held the role of Senior Program Manager, Customer Education, where she boosted engagement and reduced time-to-productivity by refining training resources.

Additionally, Karen has experience at Ungerboeck Software, where she implemented a global training program for 50,000 users, and at LMI Aerospace, where she developed a training program that reduced turnover and improved leadership readiness. She is skilled in using data analytics to optimize training effectiveness and foster a culture of continuous learning and leadership development.
