Alief Neighborhood Center

This $52 million project set on a 37-acre park is a one-of-a-kind center for the City of Houston, which houses multiple city departments, such as Health and Human Services, Parks and Recreation, and a public library, all under one roof. The new Alief Neighborhood Center includes a skate park, health center, numerous sports fields, and a 4,300-square-foot leisure pool. The pool features four lap lanes, an underwater bench, zero-depth entry, two stair entries, volleyball net, basketball hoop, and a family slide. The pool can host various swimming and learn-to-swim programs.

Alligator’s Creek

Located in Civic Park, Alligator’s Creek is one of the finest outdoor aquatic centers in the area with exciting features for all ages. This design/build project is an outdoor facility with three water slides, a one-meter spring diving board,long lazy river with a zero-depth beach entrance, splashpad for kids of all abilities, floating bridge, interactive water playground, family-friendly whirlpool or vortex, and a multi-lane lap pool.

Balmorhea State Park

The extensive repair project included the creation of cofferdams, salvaging of the historic diving board and brick around the pool edge and demolition of concrete around the diving board area. In addition, the existing distressed wall and backfill was removed, a new footing foundation was installed, backfill was replaced and a new wall was constructed.

Bastrop State Park

The extensive renovations, which cost the state park system about $500,000, replaced the plumbing, mechanical equipment, chlorination system and resurfaced all three sections of the pool. Visitors will also notice new handrails, ladders, and a wheelchair lift. The pool has been a main attraction at the state park since it was completed in 1937. For the past six seasons, the pool has been operated by the Bastrop YMCA, which supplies lifeguards, offers swim lessons, summer day camps, and community events.

City Of Southside Place

The new pool includes six lap lanes, a separated diving area with a drop slide and a shallow water teaching area that slopes from three to four feet. There is also a small, zero-depth entry pool that measures a foot-and-a-half at the deep-end and features a small spray pad with geysers for the little ones. Both are deck-level pools with lots of seating area, social space, shade structures and fans to bring people to the pool and keep them comfortable enough to stay there all day.

The Bolivar Aquatic Center in Missouri features a Westport Pools Design Build indoor and outdoor aquatic center that includes competition pools with a 1-meter diving board, leisure pool with interactive play structures, current channel, and therapy pool.

Boomtown Bay Aquatic Center

Aquatic amenities include a 2,500-square-foot lap pool with four 25-yard lap lanes, a 1-meter diving board, and one open and one enclosed slide. There is also a 8,000-square-foot leisure pool with zero-depth entry, participatory play structure, tot slide, 365-foot lazy river with various spray features, and a vortex.

Bridgeton Rec Center

The indoor aquatic facility at the Bridgeton Recreation Center features a 3-lane 25-yard lap pool, an interactive play structure, a waterslide, a 5,000-square-foot leisure pool, current channel, and whirpool. The natatorium is completely accessible thanks to a zero-entry beach and both ramp and stair entries.
