Whiteland High School features a competition aquatic venue encompassing 13,232 square feet of water surface area and approximately 769,357 gallons of water. Landmark Aquatic oversaw the installation of the pool mechanical room filtration and chemical treatment systems, delivering reliable water quality management and operational performance to support daily training, aquatic programming, and competitive events.
In addition to the facility’s water treatment infrastructure, Landmark Aquatic supplied and installed the competition equipment package, including starting blocks, diving stands and boards, bulkheads, and the Colorado Timing system. The facility is equipped to support competitive swimming and diving programs while providing a high-quality experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators.
A standout feature of the project was the installation of the AngelEye Drowning Detection System. As the first AngelEye system installed by Landmark Aquatic and the first installation of its kind in Indiana, the project represented a significant milestone for both the company and the facility. With only a limited number of AngelEye systems installed nationwide at the time, the project required close coordination between Landmark Aquatic’s construction and service teams and the manufacturer to ensure successful implementation. Despite the complexity of integrating a new technology platform, the team delivered a fully operational system that met the owner’s safety objectives and performance expectations.
The successful completion of the AngelEye installation demonstrated Landmark Aquatic’s ability to adapt to emerging aquatic technologies while maintaining a commitment to quality, safety, and project execution. Through the combined efforts of the construction and service teams, the Whiteland High School Aquatic Center was delivered as a modern, competition-ready facility built to serve student-athletes and the surrounding community for years to come.
