Key highlights:

The Utah State Developmental Center aquatic facility was developed to support therapeutic, recreational, and wellness programming for individuals with disabilities through the creation of a modern, accessible indoor swimming environment. Working alongside Myrtha Pools, Federal Stone Coping, and Aquify, Landmark Aquatic delivered a 1,308-square-foot indoor therapy pool designed to prioritize safety, comfort, and long-term operational reliability. The approximately 36,000-gallon pool incorporates ADA accessibility features, including a zero depth entry ramp and an ADA access lift, along with upgraded mechanical systems such as VFD-driven circulation equipment, chemical control and feed systems, and water heating infrastructure to maintain consistent water quality and year-round usability.

As highlighted during the facilityโ€™s ribbon-cutting celebration attended by state leaders, the new therapy and recreation amenities represent a meaningful advancement in care and quality of life for the individuals served by the center.
