The Pleasant Grove City Veterans Memorial Pool renovation revitalized a 30-year-old community aquatic facility through comprehensive infrastructure and mechanical system upgrades designed to improve water quality, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability. In partnership with Aquify and Federal Stone, Landmark Aquatic completed extensive renovations including new coping installation, replacement of underground plumbing systems, and a fully modernized mechanical room. The 220,000-gallon leisure pool also received upgraded filtration equipment, UV sanitation, VFD-driven circulation systems, chemical control systems, water heating improvements, and ADA accessibility enhancements, creating a safer and more efficient aquatic environment for the community. Additional recreational features, including a climbing wall, further enhanced the poolโs appeal as a family-oriented destination.
One of the projectโs most unique challenges involved correcting the existing gutter system to ensure consistent perimeter skimming throughout the pool. Uneven skimming performance had previously resulted in facility downtime, making hydraulic performance a critical component of the renovation effort. Landmark Aquatic carefully re-leveled and adjusted the gutter system to restore proper water flow and surface skimming across the entire pool perimeter. The completed renovation successfully addressed the facilityโs longstanding operational issues while modernizing the aquatic experience for Pleasant Grove residents and visitors for years to come.
