Westside Rec Center
The City of Conroe unveiled its Westside Recreation Center and Owen Park in January of 2023. Upon purchase, the city wanted to ensure the pool and pump room were in top shape, so Progressive completed a full repair and renovation. Neptune Benson horizontal sand filters, pump motors, a Hanovia UV system, Chemtrol chemistry controllers, auto-fill, a Lochinvar heater, and Accu-tab systems were installed. In addition to the pump room, the outdoor pool’s renovation included new decking, plaster, tile, and coping. The suction and return piping for the main drains were re-plumbed to be compliant, and ADA chair lifts were added.
Pridgeon Natatorium
The Cy-Fair ISD Natatorium, a 41,293-square-foot facility with a 1,513-spectator capacity, puts the district on equal footing with districts like Klein ISD and Conroe ISD in terms of swim facilities. They can also offer a more comfortable, enjoyable experience for spectators. The natatorium features 50-meter stretch pools, 140-foot span glulam joist beams, and two-tone decking. The natatorium contains the third largest competition pool in the Houston area.
Principia College Natatorium
The Principia College Natatorium is a 40-meter indoor stretch pool with the capacity to have 8 lanes equipped with starting blocks. A bulkhead divides the shallow end from the deep end and can be adjusted to accommodate a 25-meter or 25-yard shallow or deep water lane. There are three diving boards, two 1-meter and one 3-meter. The pool also has electronic timing system and an LED scoreboard to host swimming competitions. The venue is compliant to NCAA requirements for swimming and diving, and hosts the conference championship, Liberal Arts Meet. Alongside the pool is a hot tub and locker rooms. The observation deck seating capacity is 250.
Rice University Competition Pool
The Rice University outdoor competition pool’s renovation was completed in January of 2022. The pool was completely stripped of plaster down to the concrete shell, the main drain, or VGBA, covers were replaced, and new quartz plaster was applied to an area of over 12,000 square feet. This project was not for the weak. The pool holds over 750,000 gallons of water and Is 169 feet long.
Riverchase YMCA
The Riverchase YMCA houses an aquatic center featuring a multi-lane lap pool, indoor and outdoor leisure pools with zero-depth entry, interactive play structure, lazy rivers, flume slides, vortexes, and a spa. This project was awarded Facility of Merit designation by Athletic Business.
Rob Fleming Aquatic Center
People of all ages enjoy the award-winning Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, located on a 13-acre site at the edge of Lake Paloma in The Woodlands Village of Creekside Park. The Aquatic Center features a two-story flume slide, lazy river for tubing, free-form pool with zero-depth entry, water playground, sunbathing berms, 3-lane lap pool, and a poolhouse with concessions.
Round Rock ISD Aquatic Center
The Round Rock ISD project consists of a new 44,000-square-foot UIL competition-level aquatic facility. The project includes a 50-meter competition pool able to support cross-lane swimming, diving, and inter-district swim meets. Two moveable bulkheads allows for multiple training and competition configurations including water polo.
San Antonio Texas Temple
The San Antonio Texas Temple is the 120th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The fountain features a grand, cascading waterfall over a series of granite steps giving prominence to the Temple entry.
Schertz Family YMCA
The natatorium consists of a 4,500-square-foot, 25-yard competition pool with eight lap lanes, high-rate sand filter, UV, and Accu-Tab systems, and a 1,200-square-foot instructional pool with stair entry and underwater bench seating. The outdoor area features a splash pad with interactive spray features.
Seaworld Aquatica
At Seaworld Aquatica in San Antonio, families can experience many different aquatic attractions. These attractions include a huge two-story play structure, a total of four slide towers with open, closed, and tube slides, a small kiddie pool, a zero-depth entry wave pool, an activity pool with a water slide and spray features, and a lazy river with stair and slope entries.
