Inside, the leisure pool features a lazy river with stair entry, zero-depth entry, interactive spray features, and two water slides. An adjoining four-lane lap pool expands the facility’s programming capabilities and includes two basketball hoops for recreational play. A separate therapy pool provides a more controlled environment for wellness and therapeutic programming, with an ADA lift, stair entry, and underwater bench seating.

The outdoor aquatic area adds both competitive and recreational opportunities. An eight-lane lap pool is equipped with starting blocks, two 1-meter diving boards, and an Aqua Zip’N for added adventure. An adjoining outdoor leisure pool features zero-depth entry and spray features, creating an accessible space for families and younger swimmers.

Together, the indoor and outdoor aquatic spaces give the Merriam Community Center the flexibility to accommodate a broad range of users and programming throughout the year.
