In June 2025, the Margaritaville Resort in Kansas City, Kansas officially opened its doors, bringing a much-anticipated tropical escape to the heart of the Midwest. At the center of this resort’s allure lies a bold and imaginative aquatic environment, designed and built by Landmark Aquatic.
As the design-build partner, Landmark Aquatic managed the full aquatics scope of the project, from conceptual design to the installation of every system and surface, inside and out. The result is a vibrant, multi-generational aquatic experience that delivers the signature Margaritaville spirit of escapism, relaxation, and fun.
Indoors, guests can dive into a leisure pool outfitted with underwater bench seating, a basketball hoop, a Poolside Adventures AquaClimb, and a thrilling NINJACROSS™ obstacle course—merging playful recreation with light fitness challenges for guests of all ages.
Outdoors, a zero-entry resort pool invites families to unwind and explore. Surrounded by in-water lounging ledges, underwater tables, and bench seating, the pool includes interactive Vortex water features, a SplashTacular waterslide, tranquil waterfall accents, and Life Floor slip-resistant surfacing to prioritize comfort and safety.
Behind the scenes, Landmark Aquatic provided a full mechanical scope including filtration, chemical control, and pump systems using trusted products from Neptune Benson, BECS, Westlake Chemical, and Lochinvar. Every detail, from water quality to guest flow, was considered in the pursuit of a premium aquatic experience.
