Landmark Aquatic served as the aquatic contractor for The Highlands in Porter, TX which now features a 20-acre resort-style aquatic center.
In 2025, Landmark delivered a comprehensive aquatic experience, installing a lazy river with custom railings, sun ledges, and a rock-work tunnel, a zero-depth entry toddler pool complete with rock waterfall, a diving pool featuring a rope swing and diving ledges, both drop and body slides, and a leisure pool with ADA accessibility.
Phase 2 of this project, completed in June 2026, expanded the community’s aquatic amenities. The project introduced a dedicated adult recreation area, creating a space specifically intended for quiet relaxation while complementing the existing family-focused amenities. The second phase required close coordination between the owner, general contractor, and project team to successfully manage the phased construction schedule and maintain progress throughout the build.
Landmark Aquatic also provided the aquatic systems that support reliable, long-term facility operation, including Neptune Benson Defender RMF filtration systems, UV water sanitation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Chemtrol chemical controllers, and Accu-Tab chlorination with Acid-Rite pH adjustment systems. The facility was also equipped with Spectrum Aquatics ADA lifts to promote accessibility for all guests. Together, these systems deliver efficient water treatment, dependable performance, and a safe, enjoyable aquatic environment for the growing Highlands community.
