Landmark Aquatic completed the indoor wellness pool and remodeled the outdoor community pool at the Deer Park Community Center in Deer Park, TX. The 32,500-gallon wellness pool spanning 30.5′ by 35.5′ stands as a testament to combining powerful, high-efficiency aquatic infrastructure with the promise of restorative hydrotherapy.

The heart of the facility-the mechanical room-showcases a calculated balance of brute force and intelligent control. The immense volume of water requires rigorous filtration, handled by a 20 hp Aurora filter pump. Complementing this is a 3hp Aurora pump specifically tasked with driving the custom hydrotherapy features. Crucially, both of these pumps are governed by VFDs from H2 Flow Controls. These VFDs ensure that the energy consumption is optimized, guaranteeing precision flow and minimizing operational cost—a vital feature for a community facility.

For user experience, the pool features two high performance swim jets, providing a robust, challenging current for stationary swimming or rehabilitation exercises. The water quality is maintained by top tier equipment such as Neptune Benson’s stackable sand filters which deliver exceptional clarity, while the Aquionics UV system provides supplemental disinfection, offering the cleanest, healthiest water possible. Finally, a high efficiency Lochinvar heater ensures the water is always maintained at the ideal therapeutic temperature.

Additionally, Landmark Aquatic replastered the outdoor pool and installed a backwash pit, replaced the main drains, and removed the dangerous over-the-deck suction line for the slide, incorporating the new suction line with the new main drains.
