Landmark Aquatic completed the new aquatic facility at Brazoswood High School, providing the school with a state-of-the-art facility to support its top-ranked water polo teams. The facility includes a 435,000-gallon, 8-lane competition pool equipped with starting blocks, diving boards, and separate warm up lanes. The pool is supported by mechanical equipment such as a Chemtrol chemical controller, a UV unit, a Neptune Benson Defender filter, Lochinvar heaters, and more.
Despite various environmental challenges, including constructing in a low-lying coastal area that required continuous dewatering, the project was completed on budget, finished two weeks ahead of schedule, and ran smoothly with minimal issues. This was another successful partnership with aquatic designer Counsilman-Hunsaker, and our first collaboration with Stewart Builders, leading to another project together at Spring High School. Feedback from both the general contractor and the school district was overwhelmingly positive, with several individuals noting that Landmark Aquatic was the best contractor they had ever worked with.
