The aquatic components of this natatorium include a 9,250-square-foot stretch 25 competition pool with eight competition lap lanes and a 6-foot movable bulkhead to accommodate multiple racing and training configurations for both 25-yard and 25-meter swimming competitions. It also includes two 1-meter diving boards and one 3-meter diving board.

This $4.1 million project provides residents with a state-of-the-art facility, which includes a recreational pool with kid-friendly play structures and a body slide, as well as an 8-lane short course yard pool for hosting swim meets. This new addition to the Galveston Parks System will give the City the ability to provide fitness classes and swimming lessons. It will also provide the opportunity to offer community safety courses, such as first-aid, CPR, and lifeguard training.

The CISD Natatorium, which was dedicated to Olympic diver Laura Wilkinson in April of 2023, is home of 2 world records, is one of the premier aquatics facilities for both high school and college in Texas, and in 2009 it was awarded “Best of Aquatics” by Aquatics International. This is a 16,007-square-foot, 65-meter natatorium consisting of a 50-meter competitive pool with constant 7-foot deep water venue, warm-up lanes, and a dive well featuring four 1-meter and two 3-meter DURAFLEX Olympic diving boards, a warm-up pool, and drip showers for diving participants.

The Dennis L. Shippey Aquatic Center is located at the existing Pasadena ISD Veterans Memorial Sports Complex site in Pasadena, Texas. The 24,000-square-foot facility serves as the competition swimming and diving pool for the District’s aquatic athletics department. The 37-meter pool allows the District to host high school level swimming and diving competitions simultaneously.

Located at Westlake High School, the 20,000 square-foot Eanes ISD Aquatic Center features a Myrtha stainless-steel stretch competition pool with eight 25-meter primary course lanes, fifteen 25-yard cross-course lanes, a 6-foot moveable bulkhead, two 1-meter diving boards, one 3-meter diving board, and a fully integrated electronic timing system. It will be used by the Westlake High School swimming and diving programs, other district swim activities, community pool time, swim lessons, and swim club rentals.
