Dad’s club lap pool
The outdoor, 5-lane competition and lesson pool at the Dad’s Club in Spring Valley was first built in the 1950s. The plaster was very discolored and the deck needed some work. Progressive was able to completely strip the 33-yard uniquely-shaped polygonal pool, and replace over 5,000-square-feet of plaster. The surrounding deck areas were also recoated, some missing and chipped blue tile was replaced, and black tile was added to both stair entries.
Erjcc
The Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center features four bodies of water. The outdoor facilities include two leisure pools with zero-depth entries, spray features, a slide tower, a basketball hoop, and a 5-lane, 25-yard lap pool. The indoor aquatic attractions include a 5-lane, 25-yard lap pool with an attached warm pool area for family swim and water walking, and a splash pad with spray toys for flowing water fun. All pools are equipped with heat pump technology to heat and chill water so there’s fun for the whole family year-round.
Fleet swimming pump room
The renovation for Fleet Swimming’s pump room included digging out and concreting a new pump pit. There was also an addition of variable frequency drives, flow meters, and two flooded suction pumps, which makes priming much easier for operator. In addition, repetitive TR-140 filters were removed and replaced with two high-rate sand filters, current water heaters were relocated, and the system was re-attached to chillers. This project increased safety, eliminated the need to step over piping, and made all equipment more serviceable.
Barbara bauer briggs family ymca
Community-focused nonprofit established in 1844 with recreational programs & services for all ages. The outdoor zero-entry pool features two large slides, water toys, a small splash pad, and an overhead shade structure. The pool can be heated and has an advanced energy-efficient filtration system.
Bridgeton rec center
The indoor aquatic facility at the Bridgeton Recreation Center features a 3-lane 25-yard lap pool, an interactive play structure, a waterslide, a 5,000-square-foot leisure pool, current channel, and whirpool. The natatorium is completely accessible thanks to a zero-entry beach and both ramp and stair entries.
