The Wentzville Rec Center in Wentzville, Missouri, offers a versatile indoor aquatic environment designed to support recreation, fitness, and competitive swimming. Landmark Aquatic served as the aquatic contractor for the project, working alongside aquatic designer Counsilman-Hunsaker to bring the facility’s two distinct pool environments to life.
The leisure pool provides a variety of experiences for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Features include an interactive aquatic play unit with multiple spray elements, a current channel, and a ramp entry for accessible water access. Adjacent to the leisure pool, a body slide travels both inside and outside the building before returning riders to the indoor aquatic space.
A separate natatorium houses the facility’s six-lane lap pool, providing dedicated space for lap swimming, training, and programming. The pool is equipped with starting blocks and an ADA lift to support both competitive use and accessibility.
The Wentzville Rec Center was recognized in Athletic Business’ 2024 Aquatic Design Portfolio, highlighting the facility among notable aquatic projects from across the country.
