As a specialty aquatic subcontractor to FCI Constructors, Landmark Aquatic provided the fabrication and installation of a new aquatic venue as part of the Swansea Recreation Center redevelopment in Denver, Colorado. Designed by HDR Architecture, the project transformed the facility’s aquatic offerings with a modern recreation-focused environment designed to serve families, fitness swimmers, and community members of all ages.
The project included the construction of a new leisure pool, connected three-lane lap pool and water current channel, totaling 3,779 square feet of water surface area and approximately 97,460 gallons. Landmark Aquatic was responsible for the installation of the circulation, filtration, and chemical treatment systems that support reliable operation, water quality, and long-term facility performance. Water treatment manufacturers include Neptune Benson, Lochinvar, BECS, Clear Flow, and more.
To enhance the guest experience, the aquatic venue features a new Spashtacular waterslide structure and Rain Drop aquatic play unit, creating engaging recreational opportunities for children and families while maintaining dedicated space for lap swimming and aquatic fitness activities. Additional aquatic amenities and finishes were carefully integrated to deliver a durable, attractive, and accessible community aquatic environment.
