The City of Conroe unveiled its Westside Recreation Center and Owen Park in January of 2023. Upon purchase, the city wanted to ensure the pool and pump room were in top shape, so Landmark Aquatic completed a full repair and renovation. Neptune Benson horizontal sand filters, pump motors, a Hanovia UV system, Chemtrol chemistry controllers, auto-fill, a Lochinvar heater, and Accu-tab systems were installed. In addition to the pump room, the outdoor pool’s renovation included new decking, plaster, tile, and coping. The suction and return piping for the main drains were re-plumbed to be compliant, and ADA chair lifts were added.
