Policy
It is the policy of Landmark Aquatic to provide a referral bonus to a current employee who brings new talent to the company. The referral bonus will be paid to the referring employee after the employee referred to Landmark Aquatic has completed six (6) months of employment in good standing. Amount of bonus is paid in accordance with Schedule A attached to this policy in gross dollars, subject to all standard deductions. Should there be two or more referring employees for the same referral, employees shall split the bonus amount listed on the Schedule (to the right) equally.
Purpose
The purpose of the Referral Bonus Program is as follows. Landmark Aquatic recognizes that our employees are the best source of quality applicants. By providing an incentive for our best employees to bring new talent to the company, our ability to attract and retain high quality employees is enhanced. In addition, the labor market is getting more and more competitive and changes in the work force will make strategic recruiting even more important to Landmark Aquatic in recruiting for “hard to fill” positions.
Scope
Applies to all Landmark Aquatic employees and the employees of any company owned by Landmark Aquatic with the exception of those in the Human Resource Department. Referral bonuses are not granted to Director level and above nor are they granted to referred employee’s direct manager. Referral bonuses are not granted in the case of rehires of former Landmark Aquatic employees.
Responsibilities
Referring employee must be employed by the company at the time of payout to receive the referral bonus. Employees selected for eligible positions should be employed by the company for at least six (6) months in good standing before a referring employee may be eligible to receive a bonus.
Process
As part of the new hire paperwork completed on the first day of employment, the referred employee should complete the Referral Verification Form listing the employee that referred them. This form should be signed by the referred employee, the referring employee and the HR Representative.
After the referred employee completes six (6) months of employment, the form should be signed by the referred employee’s supervisor verifying they are in good standing. At this time the form will be submitted to payroll for processing.
Ask Brittany or Robin for the form.
